SUMMARY:Welcome To Life As It Is! Discovering the beauty of a complex world in everyday life experiences: with DDI Thailand
DESCRIPTION:Venue: St Gabriel’s Foundation of Thailand\, Thong lor 25\, Bangkok \nhttps://share.google/2Fi7evvoDkz71KUY8 \nDate: Sat-Sun 25-26 April\, 2026 \nTime: 10.00-17.00 \nContact: xxx \nFee: 5\,600 baht *Please inquire about scholarships \nLanguage: Slow English and Thai  translate when necessary or requested \nSee our facebook page: DDI Thailand \nWhat is this seminar about? \nWhen we imagine life as a wild garden tending to itself\, not only a series of problems to be solved\, we may discover amidst the “weeds” of our lives\, the conflicts\, the pains\, the interruptions\, a nutrient-rich soil. Any garden is affected by weather. At times we get caught in the weather\, we might fight the weather\, we can decide to stay home\, we can play around in it\,  and we might discover a ray of sunshine after a storm. \nThis seminar offers learning tools to grow from\, based on an attitude of welcoming life as it is. This attitude is at the heart of Process Work’s deep democracy\, an attitude and practice for navigating personal and collective experiences. The practices at the seminar are meant as tools in discovering the hidden symmetry and beauty between inner and outer life situations\, even those that may appear chaotic. \nMindell\, founder of Process Work developed a unique approach to listening to the “undercurrents” of reality. He differentiated three simultaneous worlds of experience that we move through: dealing in the material world\, navigating our emotional life and accessing our dreaming – our deepest aspirations that give life meaning. \nThe “all-weather” practices at this workshop develop awareness in the flow between these worlds. Here\, every disturbance is a doorway to a deeper version of ourselves and our community. What seems to disrupt us can also contain a hidden flower for our garden to bloom. \nThis seminar is a living laboratory for awareness – a taste of the foundations of Process Work. We will explore how our private inner feelings and the outer world are connected\, and bring to life the ancient wisdom that awareness in ourselves can help the world around us. \nWelcome To Life As It Is! A learning space for trying out some all-weather tools using your unique style and life situation. \nWhat will happen?  \nEach day we will practice an inner work tool and an outer tool that you can apply straight away in your life \nDay 1: Decoding inner weather signals to facilitate my inner garden  \nIn Mindell’s Dreambody concept\, our bodies and our dreaming are connected. Unfolding body experiences  with process-oriented awareness\, can offer new possibilities for everyday life situations across a wide spectrum of life situations. \nDay 2: Decoding collective weather signals to facilitate the collective garden  \nWe shift our focus to Mindell’s Worldwork and energetic social field theory. We will introduce a collective approach for engaging with social and community issues. We will learn to frame and unfold a polarisation on a given theme of mutual interest. In getting to know diverse roles and cultural influences that are present and felt\, but often hidden we may gain a new  appreciation for the complexity and beauty within a difficult situation. \nOur learning approach:  \nShort presentations\, group discussion\, live demonstrations of practices and guided exercises\, exercise practice with a partner\, large group processes on a topic of collective relevance. \nYes! to a symptom. Yes! to a disturbance. Yes! to Life!  When we give life as it is a chance to reveal its wisdom\, we open a door to invite inner wholeness as a way of being. We look forward to learning together! \nMeet the Facilitators: \nDDI Thailand faculty: Lynn Chalobon\, Joe Pluemjit; Bo Winitra; Numthip Ketsumpan. \nGuest facilitator: Julia Wolfson \nJulia is a facilitator and coach\, and lifelong student of Process Work.  She works and teaches internationally with leaders\, teams and learning communities navigating complex transitions and group dynamics\, especially in education\, care and residential support communities. \nhttps://deepdemocracydiploma.com \nhttps://deepdemocracyalliance.com \nwww.turningforward.org

SUMMARY:Failing Spectacularly and the art of 3D framing - Season Finale: Getting out of the Funk!! @#$%^&*
DESCRIPTION:This 4-part series is an experimental learning space to practice together with the purpose of illuminating a unique-to-you liberation structure within the experience of failure.\nSign up here: https://forms.gle/cbeGf4ZiGH4VFBWF7\n\n\nJoin online or anytime via recording  \nMondays: November 24\, December 15\, January 19\, February 23\n11am Nairobi\, 3pm Bangkok\, 9am CET\, 7pm Sydney – sessions 2 hours\n\n \nWe fail\, we feel this or that\, we pick ourselves up\, dust off and grow from it. Nice idea. But for many of us\,  those voices in your head remind of what you are not and what should have been\, and block learning. These voices are SOOO resilient and stick like super glue. They trap you into only focusing on whats wrong and what you wish you had done\, or who is at fault ….But are they hard wired? While the experience can be totally devastating\, is there any way out of the failure prison? The playful images here are meant as encouragement to not only suffer\, but to access your joy process within the difficulties.\n\nArnold Mindell and parallel worlds. Arnold Mindell\, founder of Process Work framed an expanded understanding of reality as three parallel worlds that in every day life we may barely notice although we are moving though these worlds day and night. These  parallel realities provide a wealth of information that we can use to transport us beyond the prison of social roles and oppressive power dynamics. The concepts and practices in this series apply Mindell’s awareness practices for these usually separate worlds to touch and allow for more wholeness and freedom to drop unwanted habits and try new ones. Hence in this series\, the term 3-2-1 framing:\n\n3 = awareness to live and interact in the world of many separate things (consensus reality)\n2 = awareness to rotate between polarised roles and get unstuck from one reality\n1 -= awareness for even a moment that all of us are in the current going somewhere together\n\nThe theme for this series came about through my own desire to break out of a repetitive reflex to hate failing\, hate that I hate failing\, then curious to learn how to harness the built in hidden talent and potential within the failing process and grow from it and with it. Built in from a Process Work perspective means ontologically built in – structured in to its very nature. Not a symbolic interpretation of the failure. Not an inferred rational “this must mean that”.\n\nIf you are at a point in your life where it’s right for you to unfold a disturbance by loosening the superglue that holds rational reasons for “WHY this happened and WHAT it means” in place\, this series may be for you!\n \nEach class includes listening to a short presentation\, connecting to your inner world though an inner orly to illuminate the theory\, discussion in pairs or triads\, and a large group process – all within the frame of learning and skill development. The classes are meant for developing framing skills using experiences of perceived failure.\n \n\nFraming – imagine any picture\, and notice how your focus  changes when you put a frame around it? Maybe you see it better. Maybe you can highlight an aspect of the image. Maybe it gets definition so it doesn’t melt away into the wall. Maybe a ne meaning shows itself. Now apply Mindell’s three parallel worlds to the structure of the frame – the pragmatic part\, the polarisation dynamic\, and the ontological (built in) meaning. \n\n\nEach month\, we will focus on getting to know and practice a unique framing awareness skill: \nEDGE: Framing what stops me from loving the experience\nPOLARITIES: Framing the hidden polarisation from hot spot to cool spot\nNATURE: Framing from perspectives of nature: water\, earth\, air\, fire\, heavenly bodies and spirits\nIDENTITY: Making a mess and cleaning up. Framing identity changes via your unique travel principle\n\nInterested in joining the failure playground? logistics and information below.\nTuition scholarships available for Global South Process Work students

SUMMARY:"Work With me\, not On me" - 2 day seminar at Vidarasen Landsby\, Norway
DESCRIPTION:This seminar is for Camphill leaders\, house managers and side-by-side supporters – social and clinical therapists \nWhat does it really take to work with a person in a way that doesn’t OVERstand\, rather UNDERstands…**. in a way that doesn’t WEAKEN personal power and agency\, rather FACILITATES access to inner strength and personal power to bring unique potentials\, and initiative into every day life and dreams? What does it take to train your awareness to see first the talents and strengths of a person\, versus fall into the “I can see what’s wrong with you and I can fix you” trap? \nWe all know these moments\, when our enthusiasm for the person’s process runs ahead and suddenly oops – where is the person? How to follow actual information signals in the moment\, versus recipes? When to come in\, when to wait? When to go slow\, when to speed up? When to leave things be? What intervention goes along with the phase the person is in? How to cross over from your own perspective\, and get to see\, feel and be amazed by the view from the other person’s space? How to deepen from action-reaction to a space of momentary spontaneous calm and revival where obvious next steps naturally appear in signal based information? Framing the talent and strength you see and are amazed by\, so it can be loved and appreciated more. It’s a complex playground of identities\, and cultural ghost-like influences. \nSpecifically\, for: \n*gaining/deepening awareness skills to support an individual’s access to their dreaming signals (described below) and navigation power to steer their own boat \n*relieving a person’s experience of not being good enough and the pervasive pathologising energetic field from social\, cultural and global influences the person is immersed in \n* being moved by the reciprocal nature of the educational/therapeutic relationship\, while using the influence of your positional role to make systemic change \nUsing ourselves to practice\, we will learn the love language of the field as it appears in us\, in the person we are working with\, and in the broader environment so that it can show its navigation path. An individual process is simultaneously mirrored in the collective. Personal themes\, dreams and resistances mirror larger social\, justice\, geo-political and ecological trends. \nWho is this geared for?\nCamphill leaders\, house managers\, practitioners and-side by-side supporters \nBackground concepts \nEvery person brings a living mix of their presented situation\, context\, history\, dreams\, relationships and conflicts\, loves and hates\, body experiences and deepest nature – which is entangled with our own in their presence. This lab uses a Process Work approach to create space for the person\, the practitioners\, and the field as one interactive and meaningful ecology to interact and reduce build up of unresolved tensions. \nArnold Mindell\, pioneer of Process Work\, deconstructed experience into three interconnected parallel worlds:\nTangible experience (facts\, events)\nSubjective experience (feelings – relative\, non measurable)\nDreaming source (deeper\, mythic life themes – flickering\, momentary unity) \nThis dreaming pattern is our deepest nature trying to find an entry point into our world of experience. It has incredible vitality and navigation power. When suppressed\, it can reappear in body symptoms\, relationship problems\, and not feeling at home in yourself. We call these appearances “dreaming signals”. If unfolded\, they strangely show a path to new potentials. \nThe awareness skills you will practice help to leverage your natural talents and strengths for moving more fluidly between parallel worlds in working with an individual. \nThese parallel worlds don’t naturally touch each other due to the collapsing of the dreaming experiences in everyday reality. But when they do\, our lives can naturally become more whole and wholesome\, even in the midst of impossible situations. This seminar highlights and trains specific awareness skills to bring parallel worlds back together through following precise information signals from the person\, the field\, and your internal experience. \nAwareness skills simply put\, means the practice of noticing. Awareness skills open the way for moving more fluidly between these worlds\, so life can feel more whole and wholesome\, even in the midst of an impossible outer situation. Facilitation means making it ever to flow between worlds and be inwardly strengthened and enlivened in a way that life blossoms. \nFocus\nThis lab focuses on the practitioners development with skills to facilitate the stuck-flow dynamic in this process\, while enriching both themselves\, the client and the larger field they are interacting in. \nProcess Work Facilitation navigates the interaction between: \nThe dreaming pattern within you and your client\, that has internal navigation power\, and can found in sensory and bodily information signals\, relationship tensions and frictions\, the larger environment\, moods\, dreams and peak experiences\, and in momentary flickers of noticing that take you by surprise. In both helper and helpee the dreaming pattern has a timeless mythic imprint that is a source of vitality and new content for accessing potential solutions. \nThe collective energetic field that both helper and helpee are immersed in (such as family\, class\, team). This field also has a dreaming pattern – a system mind that is rich with influences and atmospheres that can assist or hinder the person’s blossoming. The energetic field is powerful and illusive. It constellates communication and self-criticism and contains systemic forces that can hold the person back from accessing their inner nature to navigate with. \nInner tensions and outer frictions that provide potentials for deepening the learning and growth and access to inner powers for practical fruits. \nDay 1 – Individual focus\n• Develop your personal facilitation talents for working with one person’s internal and external experience \nDay 2 – Field Focus\n• Expand awareness to the collective field’s dreaming pattern and its impact on the individual \nWhat to Expect\nNugget theoretical frame for each skill\n“Fishbowl” practice sessionsInner-work exercises to access internal information from the dreaming world\nSmall and large group exchanges and deepening. of the individual/collective symmetry\nWhat You’ll Do\nUse yourself as the primary “practice field” as we discover the language of signals – and relieve your client and yourself of pathologising self-criticism\nDecipher the social\, geopolitical and ecological patterns within a personal situation and reduce the emotional\, spiritual and physical load the person carries to compensate for the whole. \nLooking forward to learning together! \n

SUMMARY:Leadership + Worldwork workshop in Oslo with Julia Wolfson and Trine-Line Biong
\nWorkshop will be in English with light Norsk translation \nMindells bidrag til organisasjonspsykologi og ledelse ligger i samspillet mellom tre parallelle verdener: dypere visjoner\, subjektiv erfaring og konkrete resultater. \nDr. \n\n“Worldwork begins when you realize that you are part of the process you are trying to change.”— Arnold Mindell\, In the Heat of the Moment \n\nLeadership today requires more than technical skills\, clever solutions\, and good relationships. Personal development and inner work are inseparable aspects of agile leadership — suited to the times we live in and to the challenging situations and pressures leaders face.Arnold Mindell describes this practice as “burning our wood” — an ongoing paradox of engagement and detachment. \n(The workshop will be held in English with light Norwegian translation.) \nMindell’s contribution to organizational psychology and leadership lies in the interplay between three parallel worlds: deeper visions\, subjective experience\, and concrete results. If these dimensions are left on their own\, they tend to drift apart and get stuck in polarization and power struggles. \nMindell’s Worldwork is a set of dynamic awareness tools that help us use information from each of these worlds in a practice called process unfolding — to get unstuck and create more flow in the situation and in the system as a whole. In this flow\, solutions arise more easily\, with greater clarity\, vitality\, and capacity for action. \nThe Worldwork laboratory explores leadership as both an inner and collective practice\, combining short theoretical inputs with experiential work and reflection. We will work with: \n\n\nSymmetry: Inner experience is mirrored in outer reality — and vice versa \n\n\nRank and privilege: Expanding awareness of oppressive power dynamics \n\n\nMindell’s phases of conflict: Matching interventions to the situation \n\n\nProcess unfolding: Moving from hotspot to coolspot along the continuum between stuckness and flow \n\n\nA bit more about Worldwork\nArnold Mindell’s Worldwork gives voice to what is not being said. It is a radical and deeply human process method for working with conflict\, polarization\, and collective change. It works with the whole system — not just the individual —and makes it possible to move through what seems stuck. \nDespite its international recognition\, Worldwork is still little known in Norway. It is part of Process Oriented Psychology (Process Work)\, and is used in areas such as intergroup conflict facilitation\, social dialogue\, activism and peace processes\, coaching\, and organizational and team development. \nFacilitators\nDr. Julia Wolfson (Australia) is a Process Work facilitator\, teacher\, and Deep Democracy coach who works with leaders\, teams\, and communities in the midst of change across the world. As a member of the Deep Democracy Institute International (DDII) and the Deep Democracy Alliance\, she brings a fresh\, cross-cultural perspective to the challenges and deep aspirations of leaders and facilitators. Julia has been a regular visitor to Norway since 2005\, particularly within the care\, health\, and education sectors. \nTrine-Line Biong completed a one-year leadership training in Processwork facilitation and conflict resolution with Arlene and Jean-Claude Audergon (UK) in 2020/21. She has a background as an actor and director\, and she develops and leads courses in dialogue practice\, facilitation\, and leadership. She enjoys learning environments that invite play and exercises to make complex concepts more understandable and applicable. She is skilled at constructively and supportively challenging participants in ways that promote professional growth.

SUMMARY:Join Me: Navigating with people in altered states - in person\, Oslo
DESCRIPTION:2-day in person experiential Process Work seminar. \nMany educators\, social care practitioners and  clinicians struggle to get inside the state of mind and lived experience of a person with intellectual and developmental differences they are trying to help. This person may communicate\, move and make sense of the world in non-traditional ways that are like a foreign country to their assistant/helper. Phrases like  “I have compassion fatigue” he is \,defiant “:she’s just plain lazy”\, “they are manipulative” “He’s doing it deliberately to upset me” “I cant work with this person any more” are common place and reflect a deeper dilemma that cannot be solved by more pay\, more hours\, more patience…. \nArnold Mindell;s concept of “altered states” provides an alternative underpass to travel WITH the person in the direction you both are trying to go. This reuses at times the willingness to drop content and righteousness nd enter another world where shapeshifting and magical powers grow new capabilities to join\, connect and travel through resistance. \nThis  seminar participants will experience tools and approaches that are as bnfical for the person’s flourishing and their on – when in concert\, the shared garden can flourish in new and surprising ways. we will practice various skills you can take away and use immediately: \nTRACK feedback signals to de-escalate frustration and misunderstandings \nSLOW power unfolding to the core beauty and inner GPS hidden within a difficulty \nMATCH energetic tone and movement \nAGILE ROLE ROTATION to expand your view of perspectives \nBRIDGING personal and collective divides \nWho is this geared for? \n\n* Diversity of Process Work experience – newcomers welcome\,  qualified Process Workers welcome and everything in between.\n* Diversity of practitioners\, leaders\, learning guides\, social workers\, clinicians etc working with individuals\, teams and systems – and already have a systemic and transpersonal\, threefold or shamanic interest/orientation to their work\, practice and developmental growth path AND are excited to learn to track the currents in signal based information systems.\n\nMay especially be beneficial for teachers\, therapists\, coaches\, support workers\, social workers\, health care practitioners – their learning guides and leaders – seeking a more wholesome\,  human centred approach to challenging situations.\nWHEN? \nSaturday 31 January + Sunday 1 February 2026\n \nSaturday: 10am – 5pm\nSunday 10am – 4pm \n \nLight refreshments provided.

SUMMARY:Public Open Forum: Coloring outside the line. A hybrid event in Nairobi by DDI Kenya
DESCRIPTION:Public Open Forum\nAll Welcome\, Admission Free\nThis is a hybrid Event\n\n\nTopic: Coloring outside the line.\nTime :2nd November 2025\nTime:5:00pm -8:00pm Kenyan Time\n\n\nIn life\, we often see people living within what seems like a tightly defined world. Invisible lines mark where we are “supposed” to stand\, guiding how we think\, act\, and dream. We’re told not to color outside those lines when it comes to change. It’s easy to imagine that those with money or influence live freely—but they\, too\, move within invisible boundaries shaped by expectations.\nLook closely\, and you’ll notice that life is divided into layers—those with less\, those in between\, and those with more. These invisible lines don’t just define access to power or opportunity; they also shape how we see ourselves and others.\nYet\, here’s the deeper truth: the ground has never truly been level. The goalposts keep shifting. And still—through every shift\, your essence endures. You’ve learned\, adapted\, evolved\, not out of weakness but out of strength. There is courage in resilience\, and beauty in reinvention. There is nothing wrong with coloring outside the lines when life keeps redrawing them.\nNow\, imagine this: what if we stopped fearing those invisible boundaries and started dancing with them? What if we dreamed so boldly that it scared us—and then brought those dreams to life? Not just for ourselves\, but for our families\, our communities\, and yes—for the world.\n\n\nPlease register here to help with our logistics:\n\n\nhttps://forms.gle/vPcMiAPpE1xNgXF77\nwrite us an email at deepdemocracyinstituteke@gmail.com

SUMMARY:Work With me not On me: Process Work Facilitation Lab for educators\, teachers\, clinicians\, therapists\, support practitioners
DESCRIPTION:For support and care practitioners\, teachers\, clinicians\, coaches\, therapists and their learning guides.\n \nWhat does it really take to work with a person in a way that doesn’t OVERstand\, rather UNDERstands…**. in a way that doesn’t WEAKEN personal power and agency\, rather FACILITATES access to inner strength and personal power to bring unique potentials\, and initiative into every day life and dreams? What does it take to train your awareness to see first the talents and strengths of a person\, versus fall into the “I can see what’s wrong with you and I can fix you” trap?\n \nBased on the well known truth that what you teach is what you need to learn: \n \nThe above is my core inquiry question in the background of this lab. If this quest is already awakening in you\, this lab could be for you. \n \nWe all know these moments\, when our enthusiasm for the person’s process runs ahead and suddenly oops – where is the person? How to follow actual information signals in the moment\, versus recipes? When to come in\, when to wait? When to go slow\, when to speed up? When to leave things be? What intervention goes along with  the phase the person is in?  How to cross over from your own perspective\, and get to see\, feel and be amazed by the view from the other person’s space? How to deepen from action-reaction to a space of momentary spontaneous calm and revival where obvious next steps naturally appear in signal based information? Framing the talent and strength you see and are amazed by\, so it can be loved and appreciated more. It’s a complex playground of identities\, and cultural ghost-like influences.\n\nIn other words\, Process Work facilitation skills! Specifically\, for:\n\n*gaining/deepening  awareness skills to support an individual’s access to their dreaming signals (described below) and navigation power to steer their own boat\n\n*relieving a person’s experience of not being good enough and the pervasive pathologising energetic field from social\, cultural and global influences the person is immersed in\n\n* being moved by the reciprocal nature of the educational/therapeutic relationship\, while using the influence of your positional role to make systemic change\n\nUsing ourselves to practice\, we will learn the love language of the field as it appears in us\, in the person we are working with\, and in the broader environment so that it can show its navigation path. An individual process is simultaneously mirrored in the collective. Personal themes\, dreams and resistances mirror larger social\, justice\, geo-political and ecological trends.\n\nWho is this geared for? \n\n* Diversity of Process Work experience – newcomers welcome\,  qualified Process Workers welcome and everything in between.\n* Diversity of practitioners\, leaders\, learning guides\, social workers\, clinicians etc working with individuals\, teams and systems – and already have a systemic and transpersonal\, threefold or shamanic interest/orientation to their work\, practice and developmental growth path AND are excited to learn to track the currents in signal based information systems.\n\nMay especially be beneficial for teachers\, therapists\, coaches\, support workers\, social workers\, health care practitioners – their learning guides and leaders – seeking a more wholesome\,  human centred approach to challenging situations.\n\nBackground concepts\n\n Every person brings a living mix of their presented situation\, context\, history\, dreams\, relationships and conflicts\, loves and hates\, body experiences and deepest nature – which is entangled with our own in their presence. This lab uses a Process Work approach to create space for the person\, the practitioners\, and the field as one interactive and meaningful ecology to interact and reduce build up of unresolved tensions.\n\nArnold Mindell\, pioneer of Process Work\, deconstructed experience into three interconnected parallel worlds:\nTangible experience (facts\, events)\nSubjective experience (feelings – relative\, non measurable)\nDreaming source (deeper\, mythic life themes – flickering\, momentary unity)\nThis dreaming pattern is our deepest nature trying to find an entry point into our world of experience. It has incredible vitality and navigation power. When suppressed\, it can reappear in body symptoms\, relationship problems\, and not feeling at home in yourself. We call these appearances “dreaming signals”. If unfolded\, they strangely show a path to new potentials.\n\nThe awareness skills you will practice help to leverage your natural talents and strengths for moving more fluidly between parallel worlds in working with an individual.\n\nThese parallel worlds don’t naturally touch each other due to the collapsing of the dreaming experiences in everyday reality. But when they do\, our lives can naturally become more whole and wholesome\, even in the midst of impossible situations. This seminar highlights and trains specific awareness skills to bring parallel worlds back together through following precise information signals from the person\, the field\, and your internal experience.\n\n Awareness skills simply put\, means the practice of noticing. Awareness skills open the way for moving more fluidly between these worlds\, so life can feel more whole and wholesome\, even in the midst of an impossible outer situation. Facilitation means making it ever to flow between worlds and be inwardly strengthened and enlivened in a way that life blossoms.\n\nFocus \nThis lab focuses on the practitioners development with skills to facilitate the stuck-flow dynamic in this process\, while enriching both themselves\, the client and the larger field they are interacting in.\n\nProcess Work Facilitation navigates the interaction between:\n\nThe dreaming pattern within you and your client\, that has internal navigation power\, and can found in sensory and bodily information signals\, relationship tensions and frictions\, the larger environment\, moods\, dreams and peak experiences\, and in momentary flickers of noticing that take you by surprise. In both helper and helpee the dreaming pattern has a timeless mythic imprint that is a source of vitality and new content for accessing potential solutions.\n\nThe collective energetic field that both helper and helpee are immersed in (such as family\, class\, team). This field also has a dreaming pattern – a system mind that is rich with influences and atmospheres that can assist or hinder the person’s blossoming. The energetic field is powerful and illusive. It constellates communication and self-criticism and contains systemic forces that can hold the person back from accessing their inner nature to navigate with.\n\nInner tensions and outer frictions that provide potentials for deepening the learning and growth and access to inner powers for practical fruits.\n\nDay 1 – Individual focus\n\n• Develop your personal facilitation talents for working with one person’s internal and external experience \nDay 2 – Field Focus\n• Expand awareness to the collective field’s dreaming pattern and its impact on the individual \n\n\nWhat to Expect\n\n\nNugget theoretical frame for each skill\n“Fishbowl” practice sessionsInner-work exercises to access internal  information from the dreaming world\nSmall and large group exchanges and deepening. of the individual/collective symmetry\n\n\n\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\n\nUse yourself as the primary “practice field” as we discover the language of signals – and relieve your client and yourself of pathologising self-criticism\nDecipher the social\, geopolitical and ecological patterns within a personal situation and reduce the emotional\, spiritual and physical load the person carries to compensate for the whole.\n\n\n\nLooking forward to learning together!\n\n*Gratitude to Norman Kunc a pioneer of the Disability Rights movement from whom I first heard the phrase: “work with me not on me”\n** Thank you Max Schupbach for the Overstand-Understand phrase and modelling!!\n\n\n\n\n

SUMMARY:Cutural Ghost Role Whispering
DESCRIPTION: \nMain idea: Cultural ghost whispering is a light hearted way to describe the sophisticated art/science of decoding cultural/social norms that are super smart at stopping us from following our joy path. We can hate them\, fight them\, ignore them\, but their resilience at making us feel bad about ourselves\, get into fights on the inside or outside or clock out\, is second to none. Here we are not so focused on judging this “cultural ghost role” – rather we practice “joining” and open up to its crucial message for crossing into new lived potentials. The term “whispering” is a nod to a timeless open secret: Hating something may be good for some things\, but loving something is a surer way for it to reveal its deeper wisdom and move us into new potentials. If this fascinates you and you are up for a friendly workout in the ghost role gym\, this is for you!\n\nScholarships available for GS Process Work students and some situations.\n \n22 September  – Work and Projects: Vision and strategy stabilisers\n\nRECORDINGS available for all sessions anytime:\nDates: 23 June\, 28 July\, 25 August\, 22 September 2025\nTiming: Mondays 4-6pm Bangkok\, 12-2pm Nairobi\, 11-1pm Berlin: 7-9pm Sydney\nAddress: Zoom link sent after registration & before the class\nFacilitator: Dr. Julia Wolfson  www.turningforward.org \nMember Deep Democracy Alliance\n \nSession Themes\n\n22 September  – Work and Projects: Vision and strategy stabilisers \nRECORDINGS AVAILABLE FOR: \n25 August  – Beliefs: Religion\, no religion\, spirituality\, secularity   \n \n28 July – Resources: Money\, no money and getting/losing money \n23 June – Family +like-family: parents\, caregivers\, kids\, dynamics\, belonging/not/belonging etc\n\nEach session is continuous and also stand alone. Hope to see you there! Wondering if this is right for you? write to Julia at julia@turningforward.org\n\n\n\nFirst a personal message:  \nThis experiential Process Work lab is the result of grappling with horrible critics\, self-psychologising and survival reflexes. This humble fruit is born from the beautiful Process Work/deep democracy life long learning tree where I have gained beyond what I dreamed possible from my DDI studies and teachers. I personally learn best by trying out\, making mistakes and trying again\, and excitedly framing my discoveries for myself. I love to learn by teaching\, and teaching to learn together.\n\n\nThis facilitation lab focuses on a topic I am currently gripped by: cultural ghost roles. These are often so hard to see and catch in the act – especially if like me you were culturally bred on personalisation\, successes and failures. Doing this work alone\, is for me almost impossible. I need this workshop for me\, so I am offering it to others who enjoy co-learning\, grappling and growing in good company! \n\nIn that spirit\, now to the topic of cultural ghost roles: \nBattling against an internalised personal attack can feel like a lost cause in a repetitive cycle of an occasional win and mostly losses. This facilitation lab offers an alternative option\, in making visible the cultural roles that constellate inner critics. Playfully here called cultural Ghost Role Whispering!\n\n Cultural ghost roles are everywhere … timespirits with a life of their own roam around in the air and make you think you are the problem. They masterfully block you from going down deep to find the core of a thing you love or hate within yourself\, beyond right and wrong where true personal power and universal experience rise up.\n\nCultural ghost roles are those time spirits that belong to collectives\, regions and groups with a particular focus – dressed up in personal clothing so you think they are you or someone else. They linger and seep into your psychology and can turn you against yourself. They are everywhere and nowhere. You feel hurt and rejected. You feel blocked from accessing your free spirit and creative potentials for living according to your own manifesto.\n\nCultural ghost roles also have crucial hidden information to stabilise any experience\, negotiation or strategy – be that at home\, work\, relationship\, conflicts\, inner work\, spiritual experiences and world events beyond our control\, and of course projects and organisational visions and strategies. To get to that essence\, is a process of unfolding – ghost role whispering. You can’t unfold a thing you hate; it wont reveal its secrets to you. Take them for granted and push them away …. you can expect them to come back and bite you in the bum.\n\nCultural Ghost whispering has a creative twist. When unfolded\, the role’s disturbing content draws you down deeper into its essence-like roots beneath the cultural pattern to a universal essence  – the source of human experience and spiritual connection. When stripped of its hurtful impact\, such a role may reveal messages that are healing\, liberating and motivating AND are crucial for negotiating and navigating anything you want to do.\n\n\nIn this momentary liminal space\, the line between who is me\, and who is my opponent collapses. Differences become more porous. This space can’t be thought out\, its where a new world moment flashes in unexpectedly\, and brings surprising new insights. Many experience this as a health and happiness booster even during life difficulties and impossible conditions that are not going away.\n\nGhost whispering is an art for loosening stuck moments and getting more feeling for the essence behind your inner/outer opponent’s attack. This can bring more flow\, effectiveness and enjoyment – personally and together in one awareness process.\n\nGroup Process awareness as methodology\nThe energetic field constellates roles\, ghost roles and communication through hotspots\, coolspots and rank dynamics: a group process. \n \nWe will be studying ghost roles through the group process lens. \n\nGroup Process brings out  the stuck-change-flow paradox – where stability and change co-exist in a dynamic interplay. In this facilitation lab we will practice slowing down and using the x (disturbance) of the cultural ghost role as our entry point to the group process for unfolding to the deeper systemic essence that is at the same time personal and universal. Then comes the real test: Do you get something out of it that FEELS right? Do you ENJOY it? Let’s find out!!!\n\nWhy is this not for everyone? Because not everyone is in a spot to enjoy the shamanic practice in connecting with your hate so deeply that you enter a realm where you feel love for what you also hate. My current belief: if you don’t enjoy it\, forget it\, it’s probably not that good for you! 💗🌺 Here\, joy means an unstoppable optimism even in the midst of terrible suffering.\n\nWhat you can expect in the sessions:\nIn this four-part series\, we’ll use Process Work ghost whispering awareness tools to integrate cultural ghost roles in our lives\, and access the joy factor for living and engaging according to one’s deepest nature.\n\nGhost role whispering capabilities are the bread and butter of Deep democracy facilitation: \n👻 catching and tracking ghost roles in the act (or soon after within 24 hours!)\n👻 accessing inner power in a ghost role interaction (or soon after within 24 hours!)\n👻 feel into the aspect of the ghost role that you know from the inside and loosen its hold over you\n👻 using its essence to further your vision and strategy for your joy factor\, your area of growth and impact. Each session includes a short presentation and guided inner work + discussion\, then a facilitated group process to get to know cultural ghost roles in a specific context. \nSession Themes \nThemes may change\, depending on who is present: \n23 June – Family +like-family\, parents\, caregivers\, kids etc \n28 July – Money\, no money and getting/losing money \n25 August  – Religion\, no religion\, spirituality\, secularity \n \n22 September  – Work and Projects: Vision and strategy stabilisers\n\nEach session is continuous and also stand alone. Hope to see you there! SUMMARY:Unfolding the Spirit of a Team: Accessing the Joy Factor
DESCRIPTION:A Deep Democracy Seminar on Facilitating Teamwork\, Diversity\, and Leadership in All of Us\nThis seminar is a learning playground to experience Deep Democracy facilitation as an inner compass and a practical toolkit—to navigate the ups and downs of teamwork with greater self-awareness and skill. More joy\, creativity\, and collaborative results. A core capability of a deep democracy facilitator is uncovering the team’s inner compass – its mythic spirit. Every team has its own psycho-spiritual DNA—an underlying mythic story that shapes its origins\, vision\, conflicts\, habits\, and survival instincts. This mythic spirit is present in moments of inspiration\, crisis\, and breakthrough. You will experience how to decode and make visible this enduring pattern so that the navigator mind of the system becomes visible\, valued\, and accessible through times of productivity\, growth\, inertia\, loss\, and new beginnings. \nWhat Will Happen at the Seminar\nEach day is a dynamic mix of theory\, real-world examples\, Q&A\, interactive exercises\, and group activities. You’ll engage in inner reflection and collective interaction\, applying the tools and concepts in real-time. \nDay 1 – Bridging personal and collective mythic navigators as an inner resilience path\nDay 2 – Facilitation tools for navigating phases inherent in the stuck-flow cycle in teams and groups. \nBy the end of the seminar\, \nyou can expect to gain: \n\nAwareness practices to navigate your inner stage and team dynamics as one interactive ecology.\nA neutral language for framing and responding to high points\, key shifts\, fleeting feelings\, your inner debates as a facilitator\, and spontaneous insights as they happen.\nPractical tools you can explore and apply in any positional role\, personal life\, leadership\, and teamwork.\n\nWhether you’re a leader\, facilitator\, part of a team\, or seeking to facilitate the voices vying for attention in your inner team\, this seminar invites you to explore the mythic spirits and collective roles that shape our group experiences. Using Deep Democracy’s approach to making the unknown visible\, you can grow into your team\, blossom in your role\, and deepen your leadership in any walk of life. \n \n\nRegister here \nFor all information about seminar fee + early bird rate until 1 March\, logistics etc.\nWe appreciate if you register as soon as possible to help our planning.\nFull flyer here in pdf:\nUnfolding the spirit of a team\n

SUMMARY:Bare Bones session 4: At the edge of conflict - Lava Palava!
DESCRIPTION:Session 4 in the Bare Bones Series: going here\, getting to real\, coming alive!\n10 March – At the edge of conflict: lava palaver! \nWe will practice slow motion techniques to uncover new powers at the edge of the conflict\n\nRecordings available for previous sessions: \n10 February – Edges and identities: A new world right here!\n \n6 January 2025 – Navigating inner/societal critics \n16 December 2024– Double signals as a path of crumbs to inner power for new directions \nWHY THE BARE BONES SERIES? \nWhere is there? What is real? How do we know we are coming alive? \nThese questions are beyond context – meaning\, they are present in personal life\, relationships\, teams and collectives of all kinds. Bare bones have been used as children’s games and oracles since time immemorial to access the dreaming power surging through the manifest world of experience. In this series\, we will practice Processwork and deep democracy awareness skills to get to the bare bones behind individual\, collective\, structural and systemic currents of information in the moment as one simultaneous ecology. The red thread in this series is a focus on untapped inner powers – innate skills that are readily accessible in anyone\, for navigating the ups and downs of personal life\, in teams and groups\, world events\, leadership and organisational contexts. \nProcesswork is a science\, an art and a practice. Experience is the material under investigation. Deep democracy as a mindset welcomes all levels of experience. A puzzling situation or a beautiful moment can become more luminous. Impossible problems beyond our control can surprise us with an incepted moment of elation. Conflicts can be more fruitful. Being together or alone get a new lustre and tomorrow’s visions may show up today! \nWhat will happen in the sessions?  \nEach session includes a “bare bones” presentation on the topic with Q and A\, an inner work\, discussion and a practice space for unfolding. \n\nA Processwork Learning event. Every session can be taken as a stand alone or part othe series. SUMMARY:Navigating the impossible: Accessing your unique sweet spot for your life\, your team and our world
DESCRIPTION:A Public Deep Democracy Learning Event: \nFacilitator: Julia Wolfson \nIn today’s diversity ecology it is almost impossible to navigate difficulties using one perspective only. Such difficulties are often called “wicked” problems – meaning the systemic-societal-global aspect\, as well as relationship\, group and personal experiences are inseparable. While trying to clean up one thing\, you find yourself unintentionally in the midst of a new mess. Personal health and well-being can suffer\, relationships can suffer and teamwork and collaboration also suffer. \nDeep democracy is a philosophy\, a principle and a practice for welcoming resistance and inertia using your unique personal power that can support you in impossible situations to liberate flow. We are calling this unique energetic power your “sweet spot”. At the heart of deep democracy is the wisdom of nature\, as in C.G Jung’s concept of a journey principle – a regenerative pattern that travels with you through the joys and sorrows of life. Arnold Mindell’s Deep Democracy and Worldwork methodology take this further as a facilitation practice for transformation of individuals\, teams and groups though accessing and using our deepest nature. \nWhatever your sweet spot\, this workshop is an opportunity to access it\, get to know it\, love it and use it as an energetic nectar in your everyday life\, your team and how you show up in the world. We look forward to learning with you! The workshop is in English. \nCost: As this is the first Deep Democracy public event in Norway the workshop is free of charge. We appreciate a contribution to cover venue cost and refreshments. Bring your lunch. \nFacilitator: Dr. Julia Wolfson www.turningforward.org \nJulia is a regular visitor to Norway over 20 years as a facilitator\, trainer and leadership coach within Camphill communities and other socially motivated institutes.
